Shelby Loftis, AHFP
Applied Health Specialist
Shelby Loftis joined the Sophic Team in June 2025 as an Applied Health Specialist. She holds a Master's degree in Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, specializing in aeronautics, human-system integration, and ergonomics for extreme environments.
Prior to joining the Sophic Team, she has contributed to research that has focused on crew workload, interface design, and operational safety in both aviation and space travels contexts. Shelby brings hands-on experience analyzing complex systems and developing evidence-based solutions to optimize safety and performance. With a curiosity that's out of this world, she is passionate about translating scientific insight into practical strategies in high-stakes environments.
