David “Gabe” Gabriel
Sr. Industrial Designer
David “Gabe” Gabriel joined the Sophic team as a Senior Industrial Designer in 2025. A US Army Veteran and graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, he earned a degree in Industrial Design with a focus on Space Architecture and Bioastronautics.
His career spans influential roles at NASA, Leidos/Dynetics, and Sierra Space, where he contributed to the design of habitats for Lunar and LEO environments, Lunar Rovers, and conceptual infrastructure studies to support Lunar exploration. Throughout his career, Gabe has focused on grounding conceptual ideas in human-centered design, utilizing tools like physical mockups, simulators, and Virtual Reality to enhance usability and performance.
At Sophic, Gabe is excited to apply his expertise to create impactful, user-centered solutions across aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing, and government sectors. He is passionate about working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that embraces innovation and solves complex challenges.
