Kathryn Tharpe
Sr. Human Factors Specialist
Kathryn joined the Sophic Team in 2025 as a Senior Human Factors Specialist.
She graduated from Texas A&M's School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health in Occupational Health and Safety with a focus in Ergonomics and Human Factors.
Kathryn’s prior experience included working as an Ergonomist and Human Factors Specialist for The Boeing Company. She also provided human factors support to the ISS program in IVA sustainment and development and participated in proposal writing activities.
These roles included tasks such as managing requirements, stakeholder integration and design support, and operational support comprising procedure development and optimization, human factors assessments, including verification testing and general consulting.
